We are no longer accepting Transfers after December 31st, 2023.

A Federal Firearms Transfer happens when you buy a firearm from any other person or web site other than SRC Firearms and it is shipped to us. Once the seller and SRC Firearm have exchanged our Federal Firearms License (FFL) information the item will be shipped to us. Once the Firearm is received, we will call you to set up a time to come due the paperwork.  Please call or email before you purchase anything to ship for a transfer.  The price is $40.00 which includes the $10.00 Oregon background check fee (Please add $5.00 for each additional firearm if transferring multiple firearms). For a handgun you must be 21 years and old be an Oregon resident with a valid driver’s license or Oregon CCW Permit with your current address and pass the OSP background check. For a long gun you must have state driver’s license with current address and pass OSP background check. Although not typical there could be an extra handling fee if any special request or shipping extras with the transfers. Please contact me with any questions prior to purchasing any firearms to be shipped to us.  New firearms and transferred firearms that are not picked up after 30 days will be charged a $5.00 a week per firearm storage fee. After 30 of with no contact the item(s) becomes SRC Firearms property. SRC Firearms Is not responsible for damage to items prior to it being signed for due to improper packing or care. SRC Firearms will only ship firearms to a dealer that has a valid FFL. Due to many different factors in size and value please contact us for a quote to ship a firearm.
